Placing an Order Return to Help Center

Find the product you would like to buy by searching or browsing GameStop.com. When browsing, note you can view products organized by multiple platforms, such as Xbox 360 or PS3, and by category, such as Action or Sports. After you find the product you want, click on the "Add To Cart" button. This will add the product to your "Shopping Cart" and show you the contents of your cart. From your "Shopping Cart", click the "Proceed to Checkout" button. This will take you to the online order forms.

Complete each of the order forms including shipping address, billing address and payment information. Be sure to print a copy of the order confirmation page as your receipt.

What are all the steps in an order process?
  • Verifying:
    • Order verification, fraud prevention and payment processing. Changes may be made to an order during this step up to the end when the credit card is charged.
  • Processing:
    • Your credit/debit card or other payment has been successfully charged. Please note that you may no longer make changes to your order as products are being collected in the warehouse and boxed for shipment.
  • Shipped:
    • Out of the warehouse and on the road! An e-mail will be sent to your account address with a tracking link (also available by clicking the Order Number above). Information may be delayed on the carrier's website according to update frequency.
What if there is a problem?
  • Held:
    • Payment processing has been stalled. This product is being held from shipment due to order verification or other issues. Please contact us for more information.
  • Cancelled:
    • The order has been cancelled (reasons vary) and will not ship. If you need to re-order as a result, please do so on our website. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us for help.
